RFS Donated Food

P281013_1713Earth Recovery Australia is currently working with the RFS to distribute food donated for the recent fires through its Blue Mountains Food Rescue Project. There has been an oversupply of donations.

We currently have approximately 17 pallet loads of excess food that we are distributing to members of our community who are experiencing disadvantage or homelessness. It is all non perishable with “best before” or “use by” dates ranging from 2 -12 months in the future.

We will be holding several “open days” at the RFS headquarters in Katoomba where community organisations and groups can come and collect.

Our Blue Mountains Food Rescue Project has distributed over $10,000 worth of rescued food in the form of food parcels in the last 7 months.

Contact us for more information about collection days.

Thank you Aldi
