Slow Lunch with Soul

Slow Lunch With Soul – Join us on Sunday
Sunday, 24th January 2016 10am – 2pm

Junction 142 (142 Katoomba Street, Katoomba)

The Soul Kitchen is joining with Slow Food Blue Mountains to host a very special Sunday Lunch – slow Food meets Food Rescue.

It’s an incredible fact that the Food Rescue programme, run by Rosa Del Ponte of Earth Recovery Australia, saved around 20,000 kg of food from going to landfill last year, and provided healthy lunches and food parcels for hundreds of Blue Mountains residents.

Slow Food Blue Mountains is concerned about our food security, and so has joined forces with Food Rescue and the Soul Kitchen to offer a Sunday lunch made from entirely rescued food as part of their Summer Harvest festival programme.

Join us on Sunday – doors open from 10am and lunch is served from 12.30 pm.

This is a free event with donations towards the Soul Kitchen and Food Rescue gratefully received.
